Lenovo Product showcase Hands On at #CES2016

Lenovo doesn’t have a booth at the CES floor but takes some spaces out to showcase their products separately. Lets look at them now.

First up is the legendary ThinkPads and yes there are new ones. The X1 Carbon gets a new processor update, a new X1 Yoga along with the new X1 ThinkPad tablet.

The X1 series are ThinkPad flagships and professional products. They keyboard has good tactile feedback as you would expect from Thinkpads.

The X1 Yoga has Yoga capabilities. You can flip it all around just like a Yoga. The keyboard flushes with the base when the screen is flipped completely. This is something Lenovo calls ‘Lift n Lock’.

The X1 Yoga has a 14 inch OLED screen where blacks are truly black. This is one of the first OLED screened ThinkPad. Its a 14 inch screen at 2560 x 1400 pixel resolution.

“Its pretty much a ThinkPad Surface”

The ThinkPad X1 Tablet is an interesting one. The processor goes only up to Intel Core m7. It basically a tablet with a stand built in and a keyboard cover. Its pretty much a ThinkPad Surface.

The stand is mechanical you press a button and it pops out. It really rigid.

At the bottom ports is where the nice RED cover keyboard attaches. Its a full ThinkPad keyboard with good key travel.

The place where the attachment goes can be extended to add in more modules. You can modules like extra ports, Ethernet and even a projector

Lenovo also had a big YOGA line up including the YOGA 900 and the slimmest 900S.

The YOGA android tablets with projectors were shown and it seems Lenovo really digs projectors this year.

Lenovo’s mobile division also covers their VIBE series. The new Vibe X3 has a full HD screen , a 21 MP camera 3 GB of RAM and a big 3500 mAh running Snapdragon 808 1.8Ghz hexacore processor.

And if you forgot, Lenovo owns Motorola and their devices like the Moto G, with its endless customization options. The droid turbo series were on display as well.

The moto 360 android wear smartwatch was on display with emphasis to customization as well.  Their new product the IdeaCenter 610 is a PC with a portable projector dock-able at the top. It packs a lot of power even suitable for gaming.

In  simple terms, 2016 for Lenovo is all about ideacenter, motorolla, ThinkPad , Vibe and YOGA.
