Go to Silicon Valley by winning NYUAD AngelHack hackathon

The IDEA labs at New York University Abu Dhabi is having Abu Dhabi’s first ever AngelHack hackathon competition. If you win, the team will be invited to Silicon Valley at the San Francisco bay area in California to pitch at a demo day in front of over 100 investors. Runner ups will receive prizes as well.

“24 hours of Innovation and Entrepreneurship”

The hackathon is going to be Abu Dhabi’s first AngelHack according to NYUAD. AngelHack is one of the biggest global hacker and maker community. Innovations in technology are the outcomes of AngelHack hackathons. A Similar hackathon was recently held in Dubai as reported earlier.

NYUAD is going to have the hackathon on September 4th 09:00 (Friday) – September 5th 19:00 (Saturday). A public demo of the finalists will take place at about 17:00 on Saturday so you really have a little over 24 hours in the Hackathon to come up with an MVP, a prototype not to mention figure it out with peers and the team management needed. It really sounds exciting.

Winners also get “HACKcelerator” mentorship

What does winning get you? The NYUAD HACKcelerator Program which is a 12 week mentorship that is designed to help top teams “explore and refine” their ideas in their startup journey. Think of it as an accelerator for HACKathon ideas who are on the verge of starting their startups. Sounds like a good idea for an accelerator.
