There’s a never ending flow of new Android-powered smartphones hitting the Qatar market. After releasing one just recently, Vodafone Qatar has taken the lead with the launch of the new LG G4.

The successor to the LG G3, the all-new LG G4 aims to provide an evolutionary experience while redefining the definition of a premium mobile device. There’s been a bigger focus on delivering comfortable elegance, a great visual experience and a human-centric user experience.

Mobile Photography with a DSLR touch

LG designed the 16MP camera in the LG G4 to capture beautiful images, even under less than ideal lighting conditions. The camera module features a wide F1.8 aperture lens that allows 80 percent more light to reach the sensor than the G3, and greatly improves low-light performance even further with its OIS 2.0.

A new addition on the G4 for smartphone photographers, Manual Mode allows experienced photographers the ability to exercise more artistic expression by allowing users direct control on the focus, shutter speed, ISO, exposure compensation and white balance for every shot. In addition to the industry standard jpeg format for photos, advanced photographers can also save their photos in RAW format. The advanced camera in the LG G4 is complemented by Colour Spectrum Sensor (CSS), the first feature of its kind to find its way into a smartphone.

LG even included an 8MP front-facing camera for sharp, detailed portraits and group shots. That will make your selfies pop out even better under the strenuous lighting conditions.

Taking a quantum leap in display technology, the LG G4 is the first smartphone to use LG Display’s new 5.5-inch IPS Quantum Display. That’s equivalent to 20 percent greater colour reproduction, 25 percent improvement in brightness and 50 percent greater contrast.

The display doesn’t even damper the battery life of the G4, thanks to its high-capacity 3,000mAh removable battery. As many other Android devices have foregone the removable battery concept for a built-in system, it’s quite a change to see LG maintaining it for such a premium-class device.
