Paypal launches in Qatar with QNB

For the first time in the Middle East, customers can now pay for their shopping online, send and receive money and much more by using their Paypal account.

The first partnership in MENA, QNB have teamed up with Paypal to allow their retail customers to use their Paypal accounts with their QNB account.

This is a big step up for eCommerce in the region, as Qatar has seen a huge increase in online shopping, online payment, and online money transfer in the past year.

Paypal is trusted worldwide and enables millions of consumers to buy and sell products online. It’s pretty easy setting up your Paypal account to use with QNB. Before you start, check out QNB’s Internet Banking info page on Paypal here:

To sign up, all you need to do is head over to your QNB Internet Banking Page (https://ib.qnb.com.qa) and click on the Paypal tab – from which you can link either your credit card, debit card, e-Card, or your bank account with your Paypal email address. Top-ups are offered free of charge and is debited in USD.
