Samsung releases Arabic Music App ‘Yala’ for its SMART TVs
Samsung today announced that it has released ‘Yala’, an Arabic application that will let users stream over 120,000 songs and 5,000 videos on their SMART TVs. This is being done in partnership with Yala Music, an Arabic music startup with offices in France, Lebanon and Morocco among other countries. Yala Music was founded in 2012 by Patrick Chassany and features content from various catalogs including Rotana, Melody, Mazzika, Arabica and more. The service is available on Web, PC, Android and iOS devices.
The Yala application is one of over 400 localized applications available on the Samsung SMART TV Application store, and part of a conscious effort by Samsung to bring more content and value to users.
